Inspirational Post | Pastel Hair

Secretly I've always loved pastel coloured hair. It makes me think of fairies or mermaids and I really like the way it looks. This summer, I dipdyed my hair pink, which I loved, but I don't think I could ever muster up the courage to go through the whole bleaching/dyeing process. And I don't think I could get away with pink/lilac/turquoise hair. But fortunately there are people who look great with it, so that I can look at their pictures and share them with you!

And now I really want pink or lilac hair. Looking at all of these pictures might not be such a good idea after all :')

Edit: I was playing around a bit with Photoshop and I figured out how to change hair colours, so of course I tried pastel hair! This is the result:

I don't really think I could pull it off, but it's funny to know what I'd look like.
What do you think of pastel hair? Would you ever dye your hair such a crazy colour?

Have a nice day! XXX :)

Autumn wishlist

Hi guys! I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a while, but I had a very bad case of bloggers block. My inspiration was gone and I had no idea what to write about. But I'm back now! Officially it's still summer, but with all the rain that's happening over here, it feels a lot like autumn, which means.. I HAVE A NEW EXCUSE TO GO SHOPPING! So, it's time for a new wishlist ^.^

I NEED a polka dot cardigan this autumn. But I haven't found one that I loved yet. I'm looking for something that looks like the one shown in the picture, but a little fluffier, if that makes sense :') If you know what I mean and you've seen one somewhere, please tell me in the comments!

I've always loved the idea of having an old record player and being able to enjoy old records, so you could understand how happy I was when my grandparents gave me their old one! I've already listened to the old Grease record my mom listened to when she was my age and I love it! I can't wait to go to second hand stores and buy some other records.

A Sherlock coat. Do I need to say more? SHERLOCK.

Yes, I already own a onesie, but one can never have enough onesies, right? Especially when they have polka dots on them and are inspired by Minnie Mouse.

I never really liked Dr. Martens shoes. I kind of hated them and thought they were far too manly and big. But recently my style has changed a bit and I've started to really like them. Especially the Dr. Martens shoes with flowers. Just a shame they're so expensive..

Did you know that I've done figure skating for a few years? So, of course I love the skater skirt! And yet, I still don't own any skater skirts. Need to change that soon. I'd love to pair them with some mickey mouse tights. I saw Little Mixes Jade Thirlwall wearing these and they're the cutest things ever!

And now I just need a job so I can afford all of this :'). What are some of the musthaves on your autumn wishlist? Tell me in the comments!

Have a nice day!

Summer Feelings

Yay! Summer! Most of us love the summer, and so do I. Right now I'm camping with my parents and my brother, and though I don't really like camping (5 minute showers, ants everywhere and a leaky tent) I'm having a good time. Yesterday, for example, we went shopping in a beautiful city called Freiburg. I took some pictures and I also want to show you some things I bought there! Enjoy!

First of all, there are some amazing buildings in Freiburg! There are lots of little towers and everything looks so different from the Netherlands. On the picture above, you see the church. Around the church are cute little shops and the whole thing together looks beautiful!

Another thing I love are the pastel coloured houses everywhere. Most of the shops in the Netherlands are grey and boring but this.. It's amazing! I want to live in a pastel coloured house now. There was also a man making giant soap bubbles, which made everything look even more awesome. You can see them on the picture if you look closely ^.^

There was a lot of wind, so my hair started acting crazy. I was also wearing a dress, so I had a couple of Marilyn Monroe incidents. Oh well, it was funny!

Aaaaand on to the shopping part! In Germany (and in France, if I'm correct) they have a store called Pimkie, and they sell lots of cute things there! I bought the floral pants/leggings on the picture above, and the sweater I'm wearing on the top picture. The pants were €19,99 and the sweater was €24,99. I also finally bought a flower crown thingy! I wanted one so bad but I couldn't find the right one because the flowers were too big, or it didn't feel comfortable, but now I finally found the perfect one! I'm wearing it on the top picture. I got it from H&M for €4,95.

And last but not least, this gorgeous Ciaté paint pot in Mojito 019! I was so happy when I found out they sell Ciaté in Germany! All the colours are so pretty I can barely handle it :3. I bought this one for €9,95 and I think I'll pick up another one before we go home ^.^

Today I just lay by the pool and did nothing but swim, eat, read and sunbathe :p. I guess this is my summer vacation so far, how's your summer?

Have a nice day ;)

Outfit of the day ^.^

Hi guys! I haven't blogged in a while, so I decided to show you my outfit of the day. It's not a very special outfit, but I thought it looked cute so I wanted to share it with you! I'm wearing a sheer blouse from a Dutch store called Vero Moda, but I think you can easily find  a similar blouse. I'm just wearing a simple black top from H&M underneath. The shorts and the belt are also from H&M.

I'm wearing these cute rings from Topshop. I bought these when I was in London, so I always think of that trip when I'm wearing them. They came with 4 other rings, but wearing 8 rings feels a bit like overdoing it ;p

The stockings are also from Topshop, but there's a little bit of a problem with them. The dots are glued onto the stockings, so they are coming off pretty fast. So, if you want to buy stockings with polkadots, make sure the dots aren't glued, but sewn onto them.

This completes my outfit of the day! Like I said before, it isn't anything special, but I just thought it looked cute ^.^

Floral prints & disco pants

Yay! Today was a very happy day because my Boohoo order came in! I bought a cute summer dress with floral print (you can never have enough dresses right?) and discopants. I wanted to try out disco pants for a while, but I wasn't sure whether I'd like them or not. When I found these, for only 15 euros, I immediately bought them because 15 euros is quite cheap, right? And now I'm in love with a pair of disco pants. They are SO comfortable and I just love them and aaah <3.

Just thought I'd show you a little close up of the extremely cute floral print ^.^ I just realized that I haven't taken any good pictures of the dress. Ah well, you can find extra pictures here.

I wanted to show you guys some clothing combinations with the disco pants. I absolutely love them and I think I'm going to wear them A LOT. :p

I look a bit arrogant in this picture, but I liked the outfit so I decided to put it in anyway. I combined the pants with a sheer t-shirt from H&M and a black top underneath. I thought these DIY galaxy shoes would go well with it too :).

You could also combine them with an oversized jumper like I did here. This jumper is from Primark. I put on some heels to make the outfit a bit more feminine.

I like this outfit the most. I paired the pants with an oversized jumper from H&M and a cute necklace with stars. The necklace is from a Dutch store called Shoeby.

I know the photos aren't that great, but I just wanted to show you how I style my disco pants. I would definitely recommend disco pants, they're just too damn comfortable! Do you own any disco pants, or do you want to buy them?

Bye XX <3

Wishlist spring/summer

If you know me a little bit, you'll know that I'm an extreme girly-girl who loves dresses, skirts and heels. It has always been this way and I highly doubt it'll change anytime soon. So it's not a surprise that my wishlist for this spring/summer season includes lots and lots of girly dresses. Oh, and polkadots. I absolutely love polkadots and my room is full of polkadot-printed evertything. I already own one thing that was on my wishlist; a polkadot printed bikini. My friend showed it to me and I immediately fell in love with it.

If you love this bikini as much as I do, and you want it too, click here for the top, and here for the bottom
Though I know I'll probably never wear it, I really want a maxi dress for the beach. I saw some really cute ones on Boohoo but I'm not sure what I want yet. It has to be a lightweight fabric, so that it flows in the wind, if you know what I mean.

I also want a few more dresses. A girl can never have enough dresses, right? I'm currently looking for a nice polkadot printed dress, because I came to the sudden realization that I own only one polkadot printed piece of clothing, and it's old from wearing it too much. If you know a webshop where they sell awesome (and affordable) polkadot dresses, please leave a link in the comments!

You love them or you hate them: disco pants. I don't own a pair so I don't have any experience with them, but I'd really like to try them out. They seem so comfortable and you can style them in so many ways! The only thing that's holding me back from buying them, is the prize. The ones I've seen so far were all super expensive, and considering the fact that I only have 50 euros a month to spend on clothes, I can't afford to buy them :(. Oh well, I just need to get off my lazy ass and get a job :p You can get these discopants here.

These are all the items on my wishlist that I can think of right now. Thanks for reading and feel free to share your wishlist in the comments below ^.^
