The Onesie Song

Just a short blogpost on this sunny sunday, because I wanted to share a song that I found somewhere on the internet. The Onesie Song! I have a onesie myself and I totally agree with this song. It was written and sung by the West End Onesie Club and it makes me extremely happy! So, enjoy this little piece of happiness!

Have a nice day! Xx ;)

Dr. Fish, shoes & croque monsieurs

I'm finally feeling better, which means that I can go shopping again! So, of course I went shopping with my mom. We started off by going to the House Of Beauty in Dordrecht, to get a Dr. Fish treatment. When you get a Dr. Fish treatment, you put your feet in a basin of water, with fish in it. The fish will then eat all of the dead skin cells. It feels a bit weird and ticklish at first, but after a while you get used to it and it's.. relaxing. After the treatment my feet felt soooo soft! And they still do!  I'm definitely going to do it again soon with a friend, because it's a really funny experience and I think it's fun to do with friends ^.^

Music of the moment #2

Yay! Another day of being ill! No, seriously guys, I'm fed up with it. I want to feel better again and be able to go to school.. Enough with the self-pity now, being ill does mean that I have a lot of time to listen to music, so I thought I'd write another music of the moment today! ^.^

How To: Galaxy Nails

Galaxy print. You've probably seen it everywhere, from leggings to shoes. So of course, your nails can't miss out on this trend! I've attempted to do this nail art, and I think I've done pretty well. It's pretty easy, because it's supposed to be messy, so not much can go wrong. Want to see how I did this? Click below!

My Room!

Hey guys! I wanted to write the new Summer Favourites today, but I have a cold, and a really bad one. So I can't really make any photos of my face, unless you want to see a really snotty, gross version of me (believe me, you don't). I still wanted to blog, so I decided to show you my room! I always love watching room tours so I thought, why can't I make one?

Hi there!

Hello people of the internet! Today I will be giving you a little update on life, since I haven't blogged for two weeks :p So, what have I actually been doing for the past two weeks? First of all, school was superbusy. It's almost summer vacation, but our teachers always plan all of our tests in the last few weeks, which means that they're as busy as a New York street at rush hour. Only two more weeks to go, though, and I don't have any tests in the last week, so it's almost over! I hope that my anxiety will get better then, too. If you have anxiety, you'll know that anxiety and stress makes a really bad combination, so the past few weeks have been difficult for me. I hope the anxiety will go away soon and I can finally be happy fulltime again! ^.^

Something else that's happened is, that my laptop has given up on life :(. It already had a lot of problems and I was looking for a new one, but I hadn't expected the death of my laptop to come so soon. I also lost all of my pictures. There might be a way to get them back, but I fear the worst. I know I should've saved them somewhere else too, but I guess it's too late now :(. But, we must remember to always look on the bright side of life, because I got a new laptop!

It has the new version of Windows, and I think it looks really cool. I think it's pretty hard to find out how everything works, but that'll come with time. I'm happy with it, because it's way faster than my old one and my internet connection finally works properly. Yay! The only thing I really have to get used to is the keyboard, since it's very different from the one on my old laptop.

I have also been playing the piano a lot more recently. I've only had lessons for three months, but I think I've developed my piano skills quite far already :p. I love it more and more every single day and I practice lots ^.^ Right now I'm working on On My Own from Les Mis :)

The last thing I've done in the past two weeks, is watching Sherlock season 1 and 2. I usually don't watch detectives, but I watched an episode once with my brother, and it looked awesome, so I decided to watch all the episodes and holy guacamole Sherlock is amazing! I can definitely say that I am Sherlocked. People who have watched it will know what I mean ;)

Sooo, that's it! What have you guys been up to for the past few weeks? Tell me in the comments, I love reading them C:

Summer favourites: Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation

It's a beautiful daaay, the suuuun is shining! Which means it's time for another summer favourite of mine: the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation! I know that there are already a ton of other reviews written about it, but it's my summer favourite so I just had to share it with you.
The Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation in shade 100 Ivory is a foundation with an anti-fatigue effect and it gives you a radiant glow. It protects your skin with SPF 15, which is always a good thing, and it even has vitamins in it. I bought this foundation after seeing a lot of beautybloggers and Youtubers using it and they all loved it. I wanted to try it out myself and I can't say anything else except that I love it! The colour fits my skin perfectly and I think the foundation has a really natural effect. There are tiny glitters in it, which gives you a glowy skin, but not too glowy and the glitters aren't visible when applied on my face.

I'm not wearing any make up on the picture above and I'm wearing the foundation on the one below. As you can see, I luckily don't really have a lot of blemishes, but I do have freckles. I would say that the foundation has a light to medium coverage, but it's buildable. I definitely feel like it lights up my skin immediately and I love the glowy effect it gives to my skin. My skin is always very dry, so I do have to hydrate my skin before I wear it. I think this foundation is very good for people with dry skin, because it doesn't emphasise dry patches or anything.

Another thing I absolutely adore is the bottle! It's made of glass and it has a pump. I loooove the bright orange because it brightens up my mood every morning and it looks very summery! I wouldn't recommend this foundation to people with oily skin, as it can look extra oily due to the glowy effect. If you have dry to normal skin, this foundation is amazing!

Next up: blush!

The Seven Deadly Sins of Beauty TAG

I'm feeling a bit uninspired today, but I do feel like blogging, so I decided to pick out a fun tag to share with you guys! Several beauty gurus have done this tag, so I don't really know who came up with the idea. Though I don't consider myself a beauty guru, I do love beauty so I thought this would be a fun thing to do!

 1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?

My most inexpensive beauty item is probably nailpolish. I think my most expensive is my Urban Decay NAKED palette, which I boughton the boat from France to England. I think I paid 34 pounds for it, but believe me, it was worth it! ^.^

2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?
I love/hate my black pen eyeliner from Maybelline, because I love winged eyeliner. Sometimes I just can't get the wings even and I feel like throwing my eyeliner out the window.

3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?
I think my Cranberry Joy body butter from The Body Shop. It has a really sweet smell and it looks kinda delicious too

4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?
Powder. I never use it. I do own a few powders, but I always forget about them. I don't really need them too so I guess that's why.

5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?

A bold lipstick always gives me a lot of self confidence, though I almost never wear it in places where a lot of people know me (school etc.).

6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
I love guys with an amazing sense of humour. And I have a bit of a thing for guys who wear nerd glasses occasionally.

7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
Oooh tough question. Beauty related, MAC brushes, because I'm very curious about their quality and I just want to try them out. Non-beauty related, a new laptop. My old laptop is slowly falling apart so I kind of need a new one :p

Sooo, this is the end of this tag, If you're going to do this tag too, please leave a link in the comments, because I'd love to read them!

Summer favourites: Bourjois Rouge Edition Shine

Yes guys, it's almost summertime! Though the weather in the Netherlands isn't always that great, the clouds have finally disappeared and the sun is shining at it's brightest, which makes me very happy ^.^ To really get into the summer mood, I'm introducing a few blogposts with my summer favourites: products that I use and love for summer!

My first summer favourite is a lipstick by Bourjois. It's number 21, Rouge making of, from the Bourjois Rouge Edition Shine collection. I bought this lipstick a few weeks ago, and I've been wearing it very often ever since. First of all, the lipstick looks supercute. I think it's one of my prettiest lipsticks and the bright colours look so summery!

The colour is quite hard to describe. I think a perfect description would be pink-coral-reddish. I wouldn't wear it if you have yellow teeth, as the lipstick has a bit of an orange undertone. What I love about this lipstick, is that it is bright, but not too bright. It's a very wearable colour. It is a balmstick, which means that it feels nice on the lips, and it hydrates them too. The colour stays pretty long, I wore the lipstick on a school day of 5 hours, and I only had to reapply after eating something.

VoilĂ , my face with the lipstick :p Aaah I just love this lipstick! I definitely want to pick up some more colours from this collection. In the Netherlands, they cost 12,99 but I'm not sure how much they are abroad. Well, I hope you're feeling a bit more summery after reading this summer favourite :) Next up: foundation!

Outfit of the day ^.^

Hi guys! I haven't blogged in a while, so I decided to show you my outfit of the day. It's not a very special outfit, but I thought it looked cute so I wanted to share it with you! I'm wearing a sheer blouse from a Dutch store called Vero Moda, but I think you can easily find  a similar blouse. I'm just wearing a simple black top from H&M underneath. The shorts and the belt are also from H&M.

I'm wearing these cute rings from Topshop. I bought these when I was in London, so I always think of that trip when I'm wearing them. They came with 4 other rings, but wearing 8 rings feels a bit like overdoing it ;p

The stockings are also from Topshop, but there's a little bit of a problem with them. The dots are glued onto the stockings, so they are coming off pretty fast. So, if you want to buy stockings with polkadots, make sure the dots aren't glued, but sewn onto them.

This completes my outfit of the day! Like I said before, it isn't anything special, but I just thought it looked cute ^.^
